BABA PLATEAU NATH MANDIR

SHORT AMUSING MIRACULOUS STORY 😊

It was the year 1971, and the time of India Pakistan war. The place was a Plateau in Kargil, on the banks of River Suru, and It was a Peetha bhoomi ( pious place).

Unfortunately, the enemy captured the place, and started shelling. The army announced in a mic that all the people should empty the village, and come to the other side where there was the army post. All of the village ran to the other side, except for an old man.

Was he an ascetic? Saint? Or a Rishi? None knew, and he laughed at the announcements, and took the mud from the bank of River Suru, made a SHIVA LINGAM, and started doing pooja and Abhishek. The shelling became intense, and then the army witnessed a miracle.

All the bombs fell around the ascetic, who unperturbed by the chaos, was immersed in his own world of devotion to Shiva. BUT NONE EXPLODED. After his pooja, the ascetic leisurely took each bomb by hand and immersed them in the river Suru, which left the soldiers in shock. T

he next day, the army barged into the territory, and took control again, and eventually won the war. They visited the ascetic who asked them to fast on every Monday, or atleast refrain from non-vegetarian food. The soldiers took his blessings and left to their post.

The next morning was both mysterious and sad, as the ascetic disappeared without a trace. The soldiers neither knew his name, nor his identity. They constructed a temple there, where they witnessed the miracle, installed a Shiva lingam there, and named it BABA PLATEAU NATH MANDIR. To this day, NO BOMB EXPLODES IN THIS PLACE.

Every day the soldiers do pooja, Bhajan Aarti here with utmost devotion. The place is visited by many everyday, and people believe that anyone who visits this temple, and asks for a wish are never disappointed🙏

So many miracles right in front of our eyes, but we still are in doubt of that divine Paramatma. May Bhagawan Shiva bless us all with FAITH🙏
