A SHORT STORY to end the dayđ
Once Yudhishthira and Krishna, walked around the city disguised as Brahmins. They arrived at the house of a rich merchant, and asked for some food, and a place to sleep that night. The merchant caught both of them by their necks and threw them out.
Krishna was smiling, and Yudhishthira asked, aren't you going to punish him Krishna? Krishna said I am blessing this man with more and more wealth. Though confused, Yudhishthira walked along, and they reached a poor sanyasi's house. When they asked for food, the sanyasi, with all devotion served both whatever little he had and said " I know this is not enough. I will go get milk from my only cow".
Both of them are the food and drank the milk. Then Yudhishthira asked Krishna, "Aren't you going to bless him Krishna?", and Krishna said his cow will be stolen tomorrow. Yudhishthira asked Krishna, the reason why he blessed the arrogant rich merchant, and why he is punishing a dharmic sanyasi.
Krishna replied, the merchant is rich because of his deeds in his previous life. I have blessed him with more wealth so that he negates his punya soon, and gets punished for his bad deeds. The Sanyasi is a pious man, and has to be freed from his attachments, to reach the abode of Paramatma, and attain moksha, which is the ultimate blessing for any soul. Krishna's ways are amusing đ
Sometimes when good people lose in the material battles, and suffer, it's for better, and vice versa.
When there's an acceptance that all happens with the command of Bhagawan, and when Karma is intertwined with Dharma, disappointment doesn't creep in life.
