🙏Shubh Sandhya🙏EVENING’S SHORT DHARMIC STORY 23/8/23:
After 🕉️🙏Srikrishna🙏🕉️ Killed Kamsa and Devaki and Vasudeva were released from the jail, Ma Devaki broke into tears of joy on seeing Krishna. Once after a long time, she asked Krishna that she wants to experience his childhood, and Krishna recreated his childhood for ma Devaki.
Rukmini, who saw BALAKRISHNA, was fascinated by his form, and asked Vishwakarma, the God architect, to create an idol of Balakrishna. Vishwakarma created a beautiful idol of Balakrishna from Shaligrama stone, and was worshipped by Devi Rukmini.
After the end of Krishna avatara, Rukmini gave the idol to Krishna, who buried it in the Rukmini Vana (The Royal Garden of Devi Rukmini).
in the 13th century, a ship headed from Dwarka got caught in a storm. MADHWACHARYA, happened to be on the shores of Udupi (present-day Malpe beach). One person in the ship prayed to him to save them. He waved his angavastram, and the storm stopped miraculously .
As a gesture of gratitude, the captain asked Madhavacharya to take anything he wanted from the ship. The saint chose the rocky ballast as his gift.
As the rock was being transported, it chipped off in a few parts to reveal the shaligram idol of Balakrishna.
SRI MADHWACHARYA, scooped up the idol, bathed it and then set it up as per rituals – thus creating the famous Udupi Krishna temple🙏
